My 2014 Portfolio Booklet

Every 12 or 18 months or so I put together a mailout to send to some clients both current and (hopefully) future. This year's was designed by Stanley James Press (SJP), who created a booklet to showcase 10 projects I've recently shot.

The booklet is hand bound, with a letterpress cover and opens with a pop-up of my logo (everyone loves an architectural pop-up, don't they?). Each project begins with a detail or abstract photo of the building or structure, with wider shots hidden inside perforated pages. Emily from SJP and I spoke about the creation of curiosity involved in my work and the intention to create the narrative of a sneak peek into the project.

The end of the booklet includes a spinning wheel inside a TV screen to show the short architectural films I make with Edward Bishop as Stephenson / Bishop. Finally, Emily sourced some trace paper envelopes for them all to be posted out in.
