This project is a bit of a work in progress on Reading Train Station which is currently undergoing a bit of a face lift. Once the final stages of the build are complete, Jim will go back to capture the new version in all its glory, but even now its clear that the overcrowded old station has been vastly improved, with plenty more space created by the new walkway bridge.
The redevelopment is being managed by international architectural practice Grimshaw, which aims to turn one of the busiest stations outside London into a much simpler place; making changes and journeys quicker and easier. That certainly won't be a bad thing!
Jim's not normally one to put 'photographs' and 'sunsets' together, but here he couldn't resist a few dusk shots. Next step: flowers and kittens...
